Thomas C. Cofield is the son of Cofield Law Firm founder Carl Thomas Cofield, III. In 2002, he and his sister Amy re-founded the firm in Lexington. Tommy is admitted to practice in South Carolina, U.S. District Court, U.S. Court of Appeals and is a certified Circuit Court mediator. On top of his legal practice, Tommy is a member of the University of South Carolina Board of Trustees and an adjunct professor at the Charleston School of Law.
Amy V. Cofield helped re-found Cofield Law Firm in 2002, moving the firm to Lexington with her brother Tommy. A former teacher, Amy now specializes in real estate and probate law as well as worker’s compensation and personal injury. She was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1990.
Lora Stuart Shortt was admitted to the South Carolina bar in 1990. Throughout her career, Lora has worked with indigent clients, providing them with attentive and ferocious legal services. She practiced law in Georgia for four year before returning to South Carolina in 2014.
