David S. Hipp

David grew up in Whitmire, South Carolina. He graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance in 1973. He obtained his MBA degree from University of South Carolina in 1977. He also graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School in 1977. In 1985 he graduated from the ABA National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University.

David served as Trust Manager at Lexington State Bank, Lexington, South Carolina from 1977-1994. He served as State Trust Manager for BB&T from 1194-1996. He entered private practice from 1996-2010 specializing in Estate Planning, Probate and Trust.

David attends St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Lexington, South Carolina. He has served as a board member and treasurer of the Nancy Perry Children’s Shelter, a board member of the Lexington Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of the Lexington medical Center Foundation. He is a member of the Lexington Choral Society.

David is married to Becky Corley Hipp of Lexington, South Carolina and has three adult sons and four grandchildren. He enjoys weekends in the mountains of Saluda, North Carolina, attending USC athletic events, and playing golf.
